Dr. Sahand Shirzadi Maryan and Dr. Sergi Rivas Frau study your case together and both attend your diagnostic consultation. They explain their findings, the suitable treatment options and the proposed next steps. We consider your concerns, relevant examination findings and clinical records. Further imaging may be needed before the plan is complete. In-person visits take place at collaborating clinics in Barcelona; we confirm the address when arranging your appointment.

Start with a brief enquiry. Tell us if you have existing photographs, X-rays or a treatment plan; the team will explain which records are useful and how to share them. The initial form does not accept files and does not need a detailed medical history.

You can write to us in your preferred language. For spoken consultations, both doctors speak English and Spanish. Sahand also speaks Persian and Turkish and understands Catalan; Sergi also speaks Catalan. Let us know your preference so we can agree a suitable consultation language.

The usual fee is €80–€150, depending on the case, for the full diagnostic assessment and joint discussion with both periodontists. Additional radiographs or other investigations may cost extra. We confirm the fee and any extras for your case; this is an assessment fee, not the price of surgery.

The cost depends on your assessment and the proposed treatment. Ask for the breakdown for each stage: surgery and materials, any temporary or final teeth, healing reviews and ongoing maintenance. Where care is shared, clarify which clinician provides and charges for each part.

This depends on the surgery, your healing and the demands of your work or activity. Discuss these plans before treatment. Your clinician will give you individual guidance about eating, cleaning, activity and review visits.

We plan your stay around the procedure and initial healing review. International patients can have a scheduled video consultation with both doctors after sharing the required records. Confirm the proposed visits and stay with us before booking travel; further treatment visits may be needed.

Yes. We return referred patients for continuing care after the agreed treatment and healing reviews. For international patients, local follow-up can continue after our review, as agreed. We clarify the next stage, responsibilities and whom to contact; your dentist can also discuss the case with us before referral.
